A Fiery Temper

This was one of my pieces from my AP2D Design Concentration. The piece itself is inspired by the artist Alberto Seveso's work. I took a portrait of my friend Jessica and manipulated it by adding different colors and texture that helped to exemplify her personality.about the photographer
Currently I am a Photographic Imaging stundent at Suffolk County Communtiy College. Previously I studied, fine art, photography and Computer Graphics at Huntington High School, graduating in June 2016. My work has been chosen for exhibitions at the Huntington Arts Council, the Huntington School district and Village Artist. Previously, I won the local NYS PTA Reflections Art Contest three times. My AP2D Design Concentration was inspired by the artist Alberto Seveso and his work with fragmenting portraits. I used high contrast lighting to get dramatic shadowing which I then manipulated in Adobe Photosho. I have been continuing experimenting with different lighting techniques in portraits, seascapes and landscapes to see how the image is affected after processing.back to gallery
