This image is from a series that I recently had exhibited called 'Dark Matter'. The bold heavy make up with dripping gold and glossy lips and the glossed eye lid mimicking latex, all represents the 'painted' effect as well as somewhat of a protective layer. The fact that no clothing is visible, served to enhance the make up and hair's bold and dramatic look.about the photographer
Alison has several years of experience in photographing hair, beauty and fashion. She has qualifications in both Art & Design and Fashion Photography. She has had many publications in a wide range of magazines from Hair Now to Superb Magazine both fashion and Hair. Alison's work is somewhat dreamscape with a touch of art spanning from her art background and experiences, in turn providing the out come of each shoot as unique as possible.
