Denis Racicot canada
title
Denis Racicot - Fine art abstract
Olé - Autumn colors taken through a transparent plastic sheet. I imagine a bullsfighting scene every time I'm looking at this picture.
Riopellerinage - Reflections of autumn leaves moved by a little wind. Surface of water is like an abstract painting in the style of Jean-Paul Riopelle, a canadian painter.
tourbillonnement -
swirling - (tourbillonnement) - I took this picture of water when I was walking in a river at the speed of 1/1000 of a second, but I worked more than 10 hours on it in order to put away all the little imperfections.
paths - (trajectoires) - This is a picture of a lamp taken in "Montréal en lumières" festival. I did a camera movement in the 0,8 sec. time opening.
N.B. If you choose anyone of my photo, I can write more about it if you want.
Denis Racicot, a visual arts teacher, is also a photographer and colorist. He is living in Montreal – Canada.
His creative fiber is expressed not only by his imaginative shots but also by his digital treatments. These exploration naturally led him to the universe of the abstract subject.
According to the inspiration of the moment, he just scarcely touches certain images while others are turned into an inventive journey in the pictorial world by him.
He thus creates harmonious pictures of a poetic atmosphere between the real and the imaginary.
The freshness of the aesthetic balance of his images stimulates a certain imbalance in the spectator and thus allows the process of creation to continue in the phantasmagoric potential of it.
His main subjects of photography are flowers, water, human, urban landscapes, and suddenly interesting daily scenes.
