Stellar Explosion
Light! How do you experience color, texture, shape? Are things always what they seem? Fireworks, holiday lights, or really anything that emits color or bursts of light, these have become the foundations for my photographs. Anytime you take a photograph you are “painting with light”, but what happens when the light becomes the subject, or better yet when time is allowed to pass by – what might you capture then? I still want to see what magically develops just like what happened in the dark room in "old school" photography. It’s what pushes me to see beyond the moment.
Image effects were created in camera using long exposure.

entry description
In this series, you can imagine the birth of life from the primordial soup to elemental explosions, to the last breath, to the constellations of stars in the galaxy. Using several of your senses, you can truly experience fire and ice, hear explosions followed by complete silence, and ultimately space and time.Light! How do you experience color, texture, shape?
