Genesis
"Genesis" series tells us about a life using the example of such fragile creation as butterfly. Here is my interpretation.
This shoot was created in Moscow at the start of 2017.
My muse and my model also helps me to make a handmade props and clothes for this image.
This picture is darker than other picture in this series. Here tells about transience of any life. I've chosen a location like this to make my image more earthly, because your room is a place there most important solutions happens. I mean association with your own mind. Dried butterflies is analogy of meaningless regrets.
I've created here sad and nostalgic atmosphere, but it's a reminding picture which tells you to take a care of your future.
I was born in Izhevsk (Little town of Russia) in 1993, where i've finished art lyceum. When i was 17 y.o i've moved to Moscow to make my dreams come true. Becoming a photographer was not my dream at first, my camera lying covered with a dust up to 2013, but my mind are full of fantasy and i'm always find a way where i can use it. I've started my path as visual artist from photomanupulation. But i always wanted to get more control of my images, make them more qualitative and really unique. This is the thing which pushed me to work with photography. First time i'm worked in studio with my friends, i've sewed a costumes and make some props for them. Some of this pictures (dark and surreal art) was represented on my debut personal exhibition in Moscow, "Victims" in November 2015. After all i've changes my approach and attitude to photography. It was a time when i started to work with high fashion projects as photographer, producer and art director.
Currently i work in Moscow, shooting advertising for different brands, editorials for fashion magazines and promo-shoot for popular musicians. I've found an inspiration in nature. In the dense morning fogs, in colorful meadows, in the murky swamps, in majestic mountains and bitter berries.
