I studied photography at the technical college of Reykjavik and Photojournalism at the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria British Columbia.
I was born on a small volcanic island called Vestmannaeyjar on the south coast of Iceland.
I have been leading photography workshops and guiding photography tours for five years in Iceland and before that on Vancouver Island British Columbia.
