Hidden
Always with a palpitating heart I fill those moments which happen to appear in my dream.
I was born and grew up in a small town in henan, 15 years old to leave the county a person go to the city life and learning, until now I find it hard to blend in the cities. Always think and cities have a distance, facing the city I most feel cowardly and strange, but age dooms the growth trajectory of the young people like me and I to the city.
These photos I have shot from 2011 during 2017 in the journey which takes me away from the city from time to time. I cannot remember when I began to be infatuated with the surreal glimpse within the reality. Most of such landscapes hiding in some unknown corners are usually forgotten and unattractive. Yet I believe that some energy from my mind has projected onto these corners, so that I can see these landscapes and can be attracted by them. The sense of distance between my eyes and the intercepted screen likes the distance between me and this bizarre world. I am immersed incurably in the aesthetic taste which I myself have established for this “distance”.
