RETRO VANITAS
More attracted by creating and transforming the world around me than only capturing it with my camera, I like to evoke instead of showing. Often inspired by my dreams, visions, intuitions, I let myself be guided by these when I create. I like to stage, even to disguise the subjects in my work. I cannot take a picture and leave it untouched. I must absolutely add my touch, distort or texturize it. Whether in a traditional or digital way, my alterations try to elevate my photos as close as possible to my artistic vision.
