Camera : Hasselblad with digital Phase One back
He is parisian visual artist and creative designer.
He choses to work on square image composition with his faithful Hasselblad camera. His pictorial vision shows a continuous research on light, textures, composition of the images, and approaches the energetic, colorful graphic vision of the self and the environment.
During the realization of his images Bruno wishes to share the emotional and visual feeling imprint: sharing of a bright colorful inner and outer peaceful universe. ¨My art’s goal is to offer peace and energy.¨ he says, ¨this is why I love to propose a performance around my work, to share the experience of a meditative and multi-sensorial journey with my viewers.¨
In 2009 Bruno moved to Catalonia in Barcelona for 3 years, to continue his research around the natural light, he developed specific artistic series such as Concrete Waves, Grey Lines, Sea sky, Sea Escape or Soft Sea. In 2011 upon his return to France these achievements gave rise to an exhibition entitled «ENERGIA» both in Paris and Bordeaux. The Concrete Wave and Soft Sea series are emblematic of his approach to what he calls it as « painting photography ».
Houdayer’s favorite fields are industrial and urban landscapes, coupled with a deep fascination for the organic and vegetal, harmon of his realizations. His photographs capture daily scenes, but under new balances and movements.
His designs stage subtle and minimalist environments with its vibrational representation, graphics and colors.
