Mountains, for those of us who chose to settle close to them, have become a part of who we are, of our very identity. They are always on the near horizon and our lives pass in their shadow. We only truly miss them when away and greet them like friends and family when we return. They are simply there, never the same two days in a row; they have their own moods.about the photographer
