The Ridge
After a few shots, I started looking around in search of another target. As soon as I look back I see this group going up another ridge that leads down the mountain. The clouds behind them, the clear lines of the ridge and the small peak they are approaching. I turn my camera sideways, wait for them to walk up a bit and take the shot just when they separate enough so that the 4 shapes are distinguishable.
There is no big message behind the photo, it is simply what you see, men climbing a mountain. But it is also teamwork, courage and dreams.

entry description
Climbing Mont Blanc, back in July, we were nearing Goutier, the hut where we'd stay for the night before we headed for the summit the next morning. We'd been surrounded by clouds for a while now and had very little visibility. As the wind blew, suddenly it cleared up just around the area we were in. I immediately unclipped the camera from my shoulder and started shooting my partner who was ahead of me going up the last ridge before the hut. After a few shots, I started looking around in search of another target.
