I took this photo while trying out a lens that I was renting to see if I wanted to purchase it. The owl would not look at me for the longest time, then suddenly turned its head around ( like Linda Blair’s in The Exorcist), and stared me down. I quickly took a couple of shots, then proceeded to lose the staring contest by looking away. I loved how the eyes seemed to pop, so I added a vignette to make them stand out even more.about the photographer
I started taking pictures at the end of 2017 when my wife bought me a camera for Christmas. Since then, I have really developed a passion for taking photos and sharing them with people. I mostly do cityscapes of my hometown, Pittsburgh, but have recently started to get in to animal and portrait photography as well. Photography is a great stress reliever, and a fantastic way to explore new places, forever searching for that perfect shot.back to gallery
