Here's a view looking up from an icy slot canyon in the Canadian Rockies. The texture of the rock was really cool, especially when it was coated in ice. The ring of sunlit snow on the top gave some nice contrast to the deep blue sky. On this trip to Canada, it was quite a bit warmer than usual and there wasn't much snow to speak of. Our climate is definitely changing. Many of the changes are not even visible on the surface until you descend below ground. Permafrost is disappearing in the arctic and glaciers are receeding at their fastest rate ever. It's a good reminder we need to do everything we can to help protect our planet!back to gallery
