It was very interesting to see how the mom taught her cub. They had an unspoken agreement-whatever mom does, cub must do. The cub did not know where to start, so mom walked over, stepped on a clam, pulled back her paws, took a sniff, put her paws back on the clam and waited for it to move. Once it moved she dug up the clam and passed it over to the cub.
I followed them for hours. The cub did not catch on, he never got a clam. Mom allowed him to fail a few times before she intervened-what a great teacher!
Ejaz has expanded his photographic repertoire to the wildlife world. He borrows from the narrative techniques of the film/ fashion storytelling and transposes them onto his animal subjects. He travels all over the globe to create some stunning artwork. Which can be found at his art gallery in NEW YORK. A keen eye for motion allows him to break apart the seemingly untamable patterns of animal movement and capture striking moments that encapsulate the energy and magic of their behavior.
