Thomas Dressler spain
title
A morning at the lagoon
This is exactly what happened to Thomas Dressler when he travelled for the first time to Africa in 1985. Today, his work has taken him to the far-flung corners of Africa, the most memorable and rewarding of these being Namibia and the Kalahari Desert.
Whilst this love affair with Africa is constantly being rekindled, other new photo destinations have been added in more recent years including southern Morocco, Southwest USA, Cuba, and Spain, with emphasis on its southernmost province Andalusia.

entry description
On a cold morning early April, once again I got up before dawn to check what was happening at the nearby flamingo lagoon. I was excited at my arrival there. A magical fog lay over the water. The scene was backlit. There were only nine flamingos present, but they were fairly close and quite active. Shortly after sunrise, the photo session was over. The photographs were taken at the Laguna de Fuente de Piedra, Málaga province, Andalusia, Spain.about the photographer
