Inverted escalation
In an attempt to capture and shoot these massive structures with just one camera and just one lens, this series is about the breathtaking brutal iconic blocks that convey multiple antitheses of scale, structure and perspective.
From marble sculpture to lighting design, from video-art to soundscape experimentation, from photography to installation. A visual artist always interested in the dialogue of the form and the concept, the contemporary and the traditional, the plasticity and perspective.

entry description
Housing buildings in Belgrade, Serbia. In an attempt to capture and shoot these massive structures with just one camera and just one lens, this series is about the breathtaking brutal iconic blocks that convey multiple antitheses of scale, structure and perspective.
about the photographer
An Athens based photographer simply capturing what one sees while her works show historic juxtapositions and descriptive compositions. Even when her photography deviates from accepted photographic techniques -at times, disturbing for their unusual focus or balance- she uses this contrast to insert a dialectical aspect in the frame. From marble sculpture to lighting design, from video-art to soundscape experimentation, from photography to installation. A visual artist always interested in the dialogue of the form and the concept, the contemporary and the traditional, the plasticity and perspective.
