about the photographer
Seattle based artist, Stacy Honda, uses digital photography and Photoshop to create conceptual, dreamlike images. After working as a model for many years, it felt natural for her to portray the characters that she creates. Working primarily with self-portraiture, her images come from a place of personal exploration. Her goal is to turn feelings into visuals and to tell a story in a single frame. Each story is left open-ended and she invites the viewer to find their own meaning with each image and hopes that they can also see a part of themselves.back to gallery
