Raine Roberts is a filmmaker, photographer, and editor based in Brooklyn. Born and raised in Chicago, Raine frequented the Art Institute of Chicago where she was exposed to many forms of art, art history, and art culture. She is heavily influenced by themes of death, mother nature, feminism, and time. Raine has been credited in over twenty short films, ranging from assistant director to cinematographer to editor to producer. She has also written and directed six of her own short films. She graduated with a BFA in Film Productions from CU Boulder with Magnum Cum Laude, is inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa, and has a BA in Communication-Rhetoric. Raine currently works with Ron Howard's Imagine Documentary branch in NYC, helping to create impactful stories. When she’s not filming, Raine enjoys reading a good book, spending time with friends, all while watching her cat pounce at a fuzz on the ground.back to gallery
