entry description
Every now and then, nature defies logic. Few people are not surprised when I tell them that in the most arid desert of the world, The Atacama Desert, it snows. Yes it does, in winter in the highlands spontaneous snow can fall. At nighttime, this zone's temperatures can reach even -20 degrees Celsius. The idea behind this series is not only to portrait an unexpected reality of nature, but to generate a dialog between the viewer and the landscape photographed. Through abstractions of the land, we are encouraged to go deep into our most interior landscape and connect with ourselves in a new unexpected way.about the photographer
Chilean Photographer based in Santiago. Continuously seeking for natural beauty in simplicity. I consider every photo as an undeserved gift: to be able to capture the beauty of a single moment and share it so hopefully the life of many is improved.back to gallery
