Winter vision
Fond of nature and travels, I developed my skills during several trips to countries such as South Africa, Scotland, Canada or Norway where I was in contact with various kinds of environments. These travels helped me shape my vision of photography and greatly influenced my work.
Later, I discovered astrophotography and became really passionate about it. Stars, galaxies, nebulas and planets are now an important part of my work and I will keep exploring the dreamy atmosphere the sky inspires.
I aim to aware people about nature and its preservation through my pictures, which why I am often writing articles for magazines and choose to obtain a master's degree in environment.

entry description
I am living in the Alps, which means that I am one of the lucky persons that see snow during almost all winter. By mid-December, I hiked near the village of Bernex to a place called Mount Benand and got plunged into a very dense blizzard. I could not see over fifteen to twenty meters, the snow was circling in the wind and I could not see any path or mountain to use as a landmark. Luckily, I know this place very well since it is one of my favourite spots to go mountain biking or hiking in Haute-Savoie. Therefore, I choose to head to a place where I knew a small chalet was. As I expected, the weather did not change at all during the first part of the hike (that took me about an hour) and I was able to capture these foggy pictures that almost looks like drawings. Before even thinking of taking the images, I stood still for fifteen minutes to impregnate myself of the atmosphere, to feel the moment instead of just taking a photograph. Then, I managed to find the way to a small path in the forest in order to enjoy a different point of view on the snowstorm. Being under the trees during such a heavy snowfall always reminds me of how tiny I am compared to Nature. The trees were oscillating due to the heavy winds and the snow was illuminating the scene with a very special radiance. After hours wandering under the snow, I finally got back to my car feeling like I was coming back from another world, where nobody else existed since I did not cross the path of any person or animal during the whole hike.about the photographer
My story with photography brings me back to 2011, when I discovered it through the passion of a friend, specialized in railway and train pictures. After learning the basics, my love for music naturally made me work with music magazines for years, covering underground shows but also international festivals such as Hellfest or Wacken Open Air.Fond of nature and travels, I developed my skills during several trips to countries such as South Africa, Scotland, Canada or Norway where I was in contact with various kinds of environments.
