Quiet game
When we watch news, we always think it's happening to someone else somewhere else.
My grandma taught me that trees and plants are alive and I grew up having deep respect to nature. So I'm taking it very personal.
Creating minimalistic forms and using white color that reminds me of medical clinic spaces, I also wanted to rethink and transform the pain I had. At the same time I was watching the old birch grove being cut over to put up another building right in front of my house. Cordon tapes and faceless indifferent white figures turning to human beings dressed up to the nines and playing balls shows insensibility and ignorance.

This work expresses my feelings about huge wildfires happened in Siberia this summer and environmental situation with deforestation overall. Wildfires were ignored by government almost for one month. We lost millions of hectares of forest.When we watch news, we always think it's happening to someone else somewhere else.

Self taught photographer from Saint-Petersburg. Artist and dancer in the past. I like to explore world around me through different visual forms. I started photography as a hobby when I was seven. For a long time I was fond of documentary photography and I still do. My other field is creating staged photography. Mostly my works are hand made from the scratch.
