entry description
I met this lady in Sarajevo, she asked for alms sitting on the sidewalk near the river, on the other side was a beautiful palace museum where a famous Bosnian artist "Berber" was exposed. For exhibition many people gathering on that other side of the river, so this lady seemed even more alone. I looked at her closely and saw that she had only one eye and had undergone an operation for which she had a hole in her throat. I asked myself about the usefulness of an artist's work, if art does not serve to improve the sensitivity of man towards an another person, what is its usefulness?about the photographer
My interest for photography is not a from long time, say that I started to "shoot" almost accidentally, that is, the first shots that led me to think of photography as a means of communication, have been made with a poor quality cell phone, received as a gift from my friends. Immediately after my exit from a long and very particular period, spent in a place where technology, cell phones, Internet and other “daily duties", have little or virtualy no importance. I live in Italy for the past several years. I started taking photos a bit 'more seriously after a friend of mine gave me a Canon 40D. I think the kind of photography I do has a very pictorial footprint because before anything in my life I did the drawing and painting. The first fairly realistic images I did when I was 7 years old. I live in Tuscany – Italy, and In this moment i work like the audio - video technician. Often i observe simple and ordinary things, maybe people, or any kind of objects. I can say that, in a certain sense, i try to make photography a little bit “more human”.back to gallery
