The Bedouin
I was curious whether they are based and how do they live but never really reached there by myself, until the other day back in 2017. I was already a 3rd year student in the Photographic Communications department at Hadassah College (Israel) and received an assignment in documentary course which felt just as the perfect reason to look for these guys, get better understanding of their life and hopefully get a permission to document them.
So I went to this area and walked around for about and hour but couldn’t find anything. I decided to ask a random old guy on the way – and luckily, he knew them and explained me precisely.
When I reached their place, they were very welcoming, offered me to drink coffee with them and let me feel as we were friends for a long time already. Since that day I used to come over every week, take pictures and give them printed copies of the photos as a gift :)

Many years ago, when me and my family where driving across the road, on the way to our relatives, I noticed a flock of sheep walking along the road in the open field, I remember that I was amazed how the flock was led by a single kid that kept them organized like soldiers.I was curious whether they are based and how do they live but never really reached there by myself, until the other day back in 2017. Hello! I'm Amit, from Israel. Started shooting at the age of 16(~) and became addicted soon as I got my first SLR camera (Nikon EM).
