The Painting of Joseon Women
The Concept of this photo series originally inspired by some Traditional Chinese Paintings. I try to combine Traditional Women's Fashion in Joseon Era with the dynamic movement and harmony colors of beautiful Betta Fish.
It took more than a year for me to do some research, preparations, effort and hard works to accomplish this project.
I'm a self taught Photographer, knowing Photography since early 2000. My life is overflowing with creating works of Art. Since a boy I really love Drawing and Painting. Art gives me freedom to create anything I want either in fantasy or reality! I also love anything about Surrealism! That's the reason lots my works strongly influenced with Surrealism.

My name is Hardijanto Budiman also known as Hardibudi. I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Currently I live in BSD City it's about 40 Km west of Jakarta, Indonesia. I love my neighborhood here, it's quite & peaceful! a perfect atmosphere that created a lots of Inspirations & Ideas born in this place.I'm a self taught Photographer, knowing Photography since early 2000.
