In this regard, I intend to show these sites as a unique industrial event in the urban environment. I want to share the fascination that I have for the people working there, for the materials that are being put together to form buildings or roads and for the unique machinery involved.
This specific series concern the demolition or a part of Orly Airport near Paris earlier this year. It was made possible thanks to a very nice construction manager that allowed me to enter the site after he saw me struggle taking pictures over the fence.
I enjoyed that day so much that I decided to make it my job.
I'm fascinated with working people. Specialized in the fields of industry and construction, my goal is to capture the beauty of tough work. Machinery, tools, materials, workers... All things that are not considered as picturable but who are in fact a pool of creativity.
Driven by this passion, I try to make my pictures more concrete by developping different printed medias. Weather it is a fanzine or a poster, I try not to let all my pictures sleep in an hard drive.
Since it take some time to start as a professionnal photographer I try to build an online audiance and to teach people to appreciate what most considered like everyday life's details such as construction, people working in the street, in buildings etc. I hope to bring a new, or at least not yet developped, topic into consideration. For the pedestrian to rediscover his environnement and for the workers to be considered as an essential part of it.
