A series using photomanipulation to create an imagined future for British Contemporary Photographic Film Noir. As a certified Adobe expert in Photoshop CC, my creative exploits in this genre can really be bought to the fore, blending sci-fi with the more traditional "Noiristic" elements of mystery, femme fatales, inescapable darkness, menace, and murderous plotlines. Although manipulating heavily - my work still retains heavy influence from past cinematic treasures - casting Hitchcockian shadows, that remind the discerning viewer of the work of other past greats such as Wilder, Ford, Stevens, Lang and Welles. Studio portraiture in monochrome is combined with urban mono landscape work to produce my own peculiar brand of Film Noir.about the photographer
The English fine art photographer Jack Savage creates photographic conceptual art from his studio in Northampton England. Here he produces a unique brand of artworks using the varying mediums of studio portraiture, landscapes, street photography, mixed media photographic art, and digital psychedelic creations from what he labels "His Unconscious Soul". Over the last few years, he has exhibited his artworks internationally, in countries such as Italy, France, Greece, Hungary, Germany, USA and throughout the UK.
