The most difficult thing about skateboarding is keeping the balance when you pop up and down, but sometimes you may experience different failures in skateboarding, and attempt tricks more than a thousand times before you succeed. Balance is a metaphor for my life, and I have to keep and face the balance in my life. I have created a series of black and white images with graphic and geometric elements in the background to represent the concept of Balance. I utilize photographs incorporate geometric shapes, graphic and design elements to create formal compositions.

I have been touched by skateboarding and shot skateboarding photography for the past decade. I am skateboarding photographer based in San Francisco. Over 10 years, skateboarding has become a vital part of my life, and I have photographed this street sport for 8 years. My images are entirely related to skateboarding. All shot in San Francisco, California for its world-renewed skateboarding city.
