title
Gulliver's Universe
Objects deserve respect, even in consumer society where programmed obsolescence is a new rule.
As in « Gulliver’s travels » we are so small in front of reality as if we were dominated or fascinated by things taller than us.
I shoot my tools and object in a studio. Most of the characters were photographed worldwide. They are digitally inlaid by manipulation.
The title or the caption is important, suggesting an interpretation or a story in the surrealism style ( Man Way, Marcel Duchamp…) . But anyone could have its own interpretation.
Photographer for more than 50 years....

entry description
Objects are fascinating. They have their own lives, their own poetry, force and history. If you consider them , they « look like something or someone… ». A whisk or bent nail evoke a dervish or a hip hop dancer a sandglass is Life, two shoe shapes an old couple, even a wrench could tell people destiny.Objects deserve respect, even in consumer society where programmed obsolescence is a new rule.
