I noticed that cover-ups of foul words and symbols depicted in the underpasses looked like works of art. Rothko's paintings immediately came to mind. I wanted to share this with others and to bring to attention that the world is better when we look for the beauty around us!
She received awards and honors in international photography competitions, took part in several group exhibitions, festivals in Ukraine and Europe. Oksana's works are published in “The British journal of photography” .
Through photography, she tries to talk to society about topics that excite and inspire to share own experiences and worldview.

Many people hurrying through the streets take no notice of the public utilities workers who make the world around us cleaner and more beautiful every day. Sometimes they create art without realizing it.I noticed that cover-ups of foul words and symbols depicted in the underpasses looked like works of art. Rothko's paintings immediately came to mind. I wanted to share this with others and to bring to attention that the world is better when we look for the beauty around us!
about the photographer
Nevmerzhytska Oksana (b. 1984) is a photographer based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Has been professionally engaged in photography since 2019. She studied at the MYPH art school and at the Kyiv School of Photography.She received awards and honors in international photography competitions, took part in several group exhibitions, festivals in Ukraine and Europe. Oksana's works are published in “The British journal of photography” .
Through photography, she tries to talk to society about topics that excite and inspire to share own experiences and worldview.
