After a foot injury I was stuck at home so I decided to create that epic battle scene wide shot ie Game of Thrones style but with fruits and vegetables. So I bought potting soil and lots of produce and set the scene up in my garage capturing the photograph after two days of set up. I enjoy creating other worlds and anthropomorphizing inanimate objects into characters surrounded in something fantastic and otherworldly space. Simply I'm tired of seeing the same photographs and want something a bit more fresh....or rotten.about the photographer
Philip Roy has shot 30+ indie feature films/TV shows in twelve countries as a cinematographer, gathering a keen eye for light and its role in the overall mood along with. He currently resides in Austin, Tx and actively pursuing cinematography with a shift in focus the past two years to exploring photography in the past two years. He enjoys the challenge of creating time passage and the smaller nuisances that push the viewer through a frame hopefully discovering in a different light.back to gallery
