Tong Lau (Cantonese) are the tenement buildings built in late 19th century to 1960s in Hong Kong, which are a critical part of Hong Kong’s urban history. In this collection, I try to use the concept of building blocks to compose pictures, which taken from different time and places, into a single image, so as to highlight the characteristic of such iconic buildings.about the photographer
Tse Ki Piu (Ric Tse) a Hong Kong based photographer who has won numerous photography competitions with 12 champions, including International Photography Awards (IPA), Canon Photomarathon and Metro Photo Challenge (Hong Kong). He works on creative and fine art photography, currently working on projects “Legography” and "City Puzzle".
