Being homeless during revolution
Anti-government protests have raged in Hong Kong for almost six months and, according to city activists, more than 10,000 rounds of tear gas have been fired by police. Repeated use of gas in almost every district of this highly populated city has exposed many ordinary citizens in financial districts, tourist hot spots, shopping malls, residential estates, universities, homes for the elderly and even kindergartens to a complex mix of harmful chemicals.
