title
Ronnie
I met Ronnie almost 3 years ago and fell in love with his childish enthusiam, his open mindset, free spirit and energy. Photographing him became reporting his live and this place. Keeping in mind I want to stimulate people in general to judge less I feel a need to tell his story, especially seen inclusivity is an important topic these days.

entry description
The birth of Ronnie was an accident. He found out when he was 8 years old. His youth was tough. Violence, seks and alcohol als well as a lack of love are part of his youth. After he got a workaccident many years ago he decided to live at the ‘Landje’. A place near Amsterdam city where about 40 men and women live. Their camp is a collection of caravans, tents and makeshift houses with a sensational amount of mess around them. His lives a free live, not always without worries. Living here is for Ronnie a conscious choice.I met Ronnie almost 3 years ago and fell in love with his childish enthusiam, his open mindset, free spirit and energy. about the photographer
Nynke works as a photographer and visual artist and is based in Amsterdam. Her need for stimulation, challenge and inspiration is difficult to feed sufficiently. That is why she tries to give this to herself in her work. By creating alienation an wonder through original and surprising images, she gives herself, as well as the viewer, a brief access to the garden of stimulation and challenge, the place where she herself would prefer to live. By bringing together elements of herself and her Frisian roots with subjects that interest her, she creates tranquil and narrative settings that you keep looking at.back to gallery
