entry description
The white guardian of the valley | It took us about 20 minutes to get to the highland ponies that live in the valley between these scottish mountains. What looked like a flat field turned out to be cut through by 2 tiny creeks, and the optional path lead into a hidden moor. During the whole way this lovely fellow was observing us from a distance, wondering who we are and what we are doing. He for sure knows this area like nobody else and was maybe even laughing inside about our attempts to get to his herd. This was truly an adventure, but in the end we stood in the middle of the whole herd and spent time with them while they were grazing and drinking in the river. All worth it, the highlands never disappoint.about the photographer
