TRANSITORIES
As parts of the urban topography construction sites have always attracted me exceedingly strong. May be, because of the inherent suspence of no-access areas or because of the viewing pleasure, while watching at the highly dynamic processes, taking place at construction sites: the glimpses through the gaps in the site fences at the ‚terra conclusa‘ behind still belongs to the best, towns can offer to me.
The planning target of the completion of a building made of concrete and steel causes hardly comprehensible dynamics . The fascination certainly lies in the constant changes, building-sculptures are subject to, but my real interest is in the transformatory element of construction and its necessarily related deconstruction.
I went on studying art at the 'Kunstakademie'in Munich.
I live and work as a painter and photographer in Munich.
