entry description
On the 17th of March 2020, recommendations from the Government, during the escalation of Coronavirus known as Covid 19, suggested that people ‘self isolate’, if they were showing the slightest suggestion of any, or all of the known symptoms. This precipitated a frenzied response by the public to ‘stock’ up on groceries and foodstuffs, even though the supermarkets had assured them that there will be no shortages. Featured are some of the items that became unavailable, as a result of panic buying, even the humble toilet roll made the headlines on a daily basis. The aim of this collection of images, is to remind people after this crisis is over, how the irresponsible and selfish actions of the minority, affected the many.about the photographer
