Break from Oblivion
Melancholy is the main emotion that accompanies me in my role as an exclusive and solitary spectator. In my passion for this photographic genre I often explore environments that survive exclusively in a cloak of darkness. But as a landscape photographer knows, sometimes you are in the right place at the right time. When a timid and unexpected filtering light appears, perhaps for a few minutes, a magical atmosphere is created, going to upset the typical corruption of abandonment and darkness, giving positive vibrations to the scene. They are brief moments where the place takes back all its ancient pride and splendor, and you manage to capture the hidden soul, transcending for an instant the wear and tear of decadence.
Immortalize it and thus plotting an occult beauty, at its best, probably destined to be buried or demolished, swept away by time.
Since 2015, he has been passionate about ancient decadent places, giving voice to these structures full of melancholy charm as if they were silent narcissistic creatures waiting for someone to express their greatness.
Creator of Forgotten Art-chitectures project, decayed places are not shot just with an usual limited documentary aspect, as many others do, but they are like fine art canvas aimed at aesthetics.
Inspired by Caravaggio's style in the representation of environments, with a similitude between Caravaggio subjects as prostitutes and beggars with decadent places, both of them turned in something nobler.

entry description
Abandoned places have always aroused a sad fascination. They are amazed at how they have been able to freeze in time, hidden and invisible, existing as if in a parallel, ethereal dimension.Melancholy is the main emotion that accompanies me in my role as an exclusive and solitary spectator.
