Alaska's Inside Passage provides photographers any number of photo opportunities. On our way back from photographing humpback whales bubble-net feeding this past June, we cruised around LeConte Bay, a body of water that is filled with icebergs that had calved off LeConte Glacier.about the photographer
Born and raised in upstate New York, McCulliss is a Colorado based wildlife and nature photographer.She holds master’s degrees in nursing, science-medical writing, and non-fiction writing, as well as certification as an applied poetry facilitator. She travels the globe for the purpose of mastering her photography skills, to photograph wildlife, and intimately connect with nature. With every change of seasons, she finds inspiration in surprisingly uninspiring places and unexpected subject matter. She treasures the opportunity to create stories while creating art that pleases the senses. Her goal is to create memorable art that inspires conversation.
