The most striking feature in this zone is the redness of the water. This is due to the high amount of heavy metals circulating in it, such as iron, copper, cadmium and manganese. All this, together with a very acid pH and lack of oxygen, make it a unique place.
With the raise of temperatures and the poor rains, the water level descends and all kinds of colors and textures appear on the river side.
When I began, I felt attracted to sport photography but ten years ago I changed the subject and I only take photographs of nature.
Mostly, I take pictures of the Andalusian area.

Río Tinto, Huelva, (Spain) is one of the oldest areas with mining and metallurgic activity in the world.The most striking feature in this zone is the redness of the water. Currently, I work in the field of aeronautical chemistry and the rest of my time is fully dedicated to photography.When I began, I felt attracted to sport photography but ten years ago I changed the subject and I only take photographs of nature.
