Pantheon
Pantheon is my Inferno, the realization that, as an artist, we don’t choose our art or the type of art we do. Art is not a choice; it’s a responsibility.
This project challenges me to accept what is mine create as an artist. It is for me to question the images that inspired, but to find a way to materialize them. It is not my place to consider by whom these images are meant to be seen, but to make sure they are seen by other eyes than just my own. Until now all of my projects have been born from an idea or a concept. Pantheon is nothing like that. I do not have the luxury to know its purpose or where it leads. I can only follow and do whatever I can to bring it to life.
My interest in photography is the portrayal of the human condition, and the illumination of the hidden psychoemotional archetypes that underlie the experience of individual consciousness.
