Since Barthes has written his book, the manipulating tools of digital photography have exploded. Photography as proof of authenticity ? Today an arguable thought.
Notwithstanding, photography is thoroughly able to have evidentiary value. It even can make moments visible, which are almost hidden to the naked eye.
Moments, that are so short or so apparently unimportant that they don’t memorize; moments, which get lost in the rush of everyday life; moments which simply do not attract our attention. A glance, a smile, a move, transient grace – it is my ambition to treasure these moments, bring them to the surface and thereby back to life.

about the photographer

Bartes writes in this book about the essence of photography, which is in his opinion tendentious and partially manipulated, but is nevertheless a proof of the past, a „it was like that!“Since Barthes has written his book, the manipulating tools of digital photography have exploded.
