entry description
With millions of people viewing and photographing this distinctive landmark every year, I chose to create an artistic series to show this magnificent structure in another light. Exploring the idea of how our surroundings affect the way we think and feel, as well as where and when we look at something directly affects what we see. I was 13 years old the first time I laid eyes on the Sydney Opera House and was immediately in awe and completely inspired and still feel the same today.about the photographer
I found my passion to be artistically creative when I studied colour and design at ISCD Sydney over 20 years ago. It wasn’t until my 40’s when I purchased my first DSLR camera and noticed that photography helped to heal my soul after a period of loss a few years earlier. Now I spend practically every waking moment thinking about the sort of images I want to create. My true passion lies in artistic and fine art photography where I enjoy story making through my poetic creations to portray a mood and visual emotion of my thoughts and experiences.back to gallery
