Stay Home Still Lifes, 2020-2021
During the lockdowns, as we were all very still ... I reverted to my first discipline of Still Life, which was a logical expression. All the Still Lifes in this Series were created with objects I found around my home.
"A still life (plural: still lifes) is a work of art depicting mostly inanimate subject matter, typically commonplace objects which are either natural: food, flowers, dead animals, plants, rocks, shells or man-made: drinking glasses, books, vases, pipes... "
She is currently working on an ongoing series of Moonscapes, Landscapes & Plant Studies, which are in numerous private collections and have been exhibited by Steven Kasher Galery NYC, Exhibit A London, RI Center for Photographic Arts and Space Gallery both in St Bath and NYC.

about the photographer
Swiss born photographer Gabriella Imperatori-Penn found it critical to maintain a balance with her busy and thriving advertising and editorial career and always kept her focus on the fine arts, where she found her “sanctuary" in landscape and nature photography.She is currently working on an ongoing series of Moonscapes, Landscapes & Plant Studies, which are in numerous private collections and have been exhibited by Steven Kasher Galery NYC, Exhibit A London, RI Center for Photographic Arts and Space Gallery both in St Bath and NYC.
