entry description
Lacs d’Ayous located in the Pyrenees at an altitude of 1947m. During the summer of 2020, I did a tour of the south of France with my best friend and mentor Ralph Rohner. After many nights touring already and very little sleep, we finally made it to this destination. Getting here wasn't easy as it required a hike in 30+ degrees heat, and it didn't help with a payload of over 35kg on my back. This location was stunning and even though we were greeted with clouds it makes perfect for a beautiful scene and composition. This image a multiple exposure image, from the same tripod/camera position.about the photographer
I'm an Astrophotographer from the United Kingdom living in Switzerland. My passion for photography began 3 years ago after spending many nights watching the night sky. I said to myself one day I would like to take photographs of the stars. And with no camera experience before, I decided anyway to get myself a camera and so my journey into Astrophotography began. I am very passionate about what I do and I will go to extreme lengths to capture the image I want. It's an addiction for me chasing clear and dark skies and capturing images of landscapes with starry skies whilst everyone else sleeps warm in bed at night. I will freeze in the coldest conditions and hike mountains with crazy payloads and spend days awake all in the hopes of capturing the images I plan to envision.back to gallery
