entry description
My grandma was one of the most important person for me and when she lost most of her eyesight I made a film about her. "Omas Salon". http://vimeo.com/209779940 When my grandma died we had to empty her house. This place had always been very special to me since we left hungary when I was a little child in 1982. I went back to my homevillage to say goodbye to the place that ment so much to me always. But when the house was finally empty, there were only empty, cold rooms left. The soul was gone and I asked myself how to preserve all the feelings and memories of the past. What is the meaning of home and of belonging somewhere? The pictures projected in their original place made the memories revive again for one more time. With this photographic work I could finally make the past once more living and preserve my grandmas house for my future.about the photographer
