TunedIn Building
The building was a mixture of curves and straight lines, shadows and highlights, which intrigued me, so I chose to overlay the exposures in camera to create a more abstract feel.
A love of ‘impressionist’ painters such as Monet and Turner has increasingly moved me to more abstract forms of photography like multiple exposures and ICM. I'm drawn to using these techniques to connect with nature in a way that conventional photography doesn’t always accomplish.
I hope that you, as a viewer are able to see that connection and engage with it as I have done.

about the photographer
My photography ranges from subtle subjects like a misty dawn over a lake or a snowy winter scene. But my main passion is for atmospheric and minimal winter monochrome images I shoot locally.A love of ‘impressionist’ painters such as Monet and Turner has increasingly moved me to more abstract forms of photography like multiple exposures and ICM. I'm drawn to using these techniques to connect with nature in a way that conventional photography doesn’t always accomplish.
I hope that you, as a viewer are able to see that connection and engage with it as I have done.
