Liverpool by Night
Its great to retrace my early steps and to capture what I can of 'old' Liverpool that still pokes through, and to capture the modern elements that add to the city's heritage. This small collection of night images reflects my ongoing work during occasional visits to document the city of my youth.

entry description
Liverpool is my home city that I left some 40 years' ago. Over my return visits I have seen the economic regeneration, refurbishments and building that has sadly led to the loss of UNESCO World Heritage badge. But the Liver Buildings and the famous Liver Birds still dominate the Three Graces' waterfront; the Mersey Ferries still criss cross the river every day; landmark architecture such as St Georges' Hall remain untouched. And of course we have two cathedrals of distinctly different designs to offer the world! Its great to retrace my early steps and to capture what I can of 'old' Liverpool that still pokes through, and to capture the modern elements that add to the city's heritage. This small collection of night images reflects my ongoing work during occasional visits to document the city of my youth.
