entry description
Like cavern inhabitants, we see the shadows of the real world through our devices. We interact through avatars, and usernames. We feel every negative comment or dislike with the force of a blow to the stomach. Our day-to-day life has become a constant journey between two realities, one virtual and the other tangible.Inspired by the Cyberpunk aesthetics of science fiction cinema, the Postcards from the Disconnect constitute an allegory of the current technological alienation we live, a critical and sometimes anecdotal view. They represent a reflection to the way we use technology. As well as invitation to review ourselves as individuals and as a society.
