"Adam led down the garden path from Eden"
The beauty of Chile—a land with many fascinating myths/legends—have been a source of inspiration for projects of mine recently. Therefore, scouting a location representing the Garden of Eden for this photograph wasn’t too hard.
I photographed myself for this photograph using the self-timer setting on my camera. I developed all images from my recent trip to Chile in a darkroom.
Info about submitted photographs: The images I submitted to this year's contest were taken using a film camera+35mm black and white film roll during my most recent trip to Chile this year.
Style: I frequently photograph myself—not in an effort to express who I actually am, but rather—to tell a fictional story of my own creation in a cinematic fashion. These stories—or situations—are often inspired by horror and science fiction films along with legends/myths that fascinate me.

This image depicts the weight of guilt/shame Adam (from the book of Genesis) would have felt after having been tempted into eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge, which leads to him being exiled from the Garden of Eden by God. Adam is seen as his world is caving in on him.The beauty of Chile—a land with many fascinating myths/legends—have been a source of inspiration for projects of mine recently.
