I am self-taught in photography, with a particular focus on street and travel photography, skills which I have mastered despite suffering from a hearing impairment. I rely on lip reading through video calls to understand face-to-face conversations and messaging.

Some laborers at work in a salt pan where they move the salt to form circular, leading lines allowing a slow evaporation under the hot sun. At the end of the day the salt will be collected in baskets: it's a really hard job!about the photographer
My name is Saurabh Sirohiya, I am a qualified graphic designer and photographer by profession, currently pursuing freelance work and photojournalism. I started taking an interest in photography as a hobby back in 2015. Since then, I have travelled almost all over India, taking pictures of different events, people, travel, streets, and cultures, and writing a story about them to describe them. Documentary photography is my strong suit.
